Frequently asked questions
Everything athletes and coaches ask before trying SportBlox.
Is SportBlox free?
Yes — generating your first training plan is free. You'll create an account with an email and password, but no credit card is required.
How much does SportBlox cost?
Free gets you 1 plan with a 4-week rolling horizon. Athlete Pro is A$14.99/mo (or A$89.99/yr) for up to 3 plans, the full horizon to your event, and more AI drafts. SportBlox Team starts at A$29/mo for 10 athletes, with a 14-day no-card trial for coaches. Full breakdown on our pricing page.
What counts as an AI draft?
A draft is a full AI generation or revision of your plan's sessions — your initial plan, a manual regeneration, or a redraft produced through AI chat. Clarifying chat messages that don't change your sessions don't count as drafts.
What happens if I stop paying, or my coach trial ends?
Nothing is ever deleted or hidden. Your plans, calendar and session history stay fully readable — only new AI drafts and chat pause until you resubscribe or an admin grants access.
How does billing work for a club or team season?
SportBlox Team bills monthly, yearly, or as a 6-month season pass to match a club's budget cycle. Roster size is a slider (blocks of 5 athletes) you can bump up any time; decreases apply from the next billing cycle. Founding community clubs get 50% off their first season.
Is the plan really personalised, or is it a template?
Your plan is generated from your specific sport, goal, skill level, stated weaknesses, upcoming events and schedule constraints — not a shared template with your name inserted.
Do I need a coach to use SportBlox?
No. SportBlox is built for self-coached athletes as well as those working with a coach — many athletes use it to fill the gaps between coached sessions.
Can coaches use SportBlox for a whole team?
Yes. Coaches can create a team, add athletes, and generate a training plan built around the team's goals, weaknesses and upcoming events. Individualised plans for each athlete on a team are on the roadmap.
What happens to my data?
SportBlox stores your account details and sport profile to generate and refine your plan, and uses analytics to understand how the product is used. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How does the plan adapt over time?
You can give feedback on individual sessions — too hard, too easy, doesn't fit your week — and the plan adjusts. It's refined continuously rather than generated once.
Which sports does SportBlox support?
20+ sports across endurance, team, combat, strength and skill disciplines. See the full list on the sports index.
Can I connect Strava?
Yes, for endurance sports (running, cycling, swimming, rowing, trail running, triathlon) you can connect Strava so your plan can account for training you've already logged.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
SportBlox supports five skill levels from Inexperienced through to Professional — a beginner plan looks very different from an advanced one, in volume and complexity.
Can I use SportBlox if I already have an event or race booked?
Yes — add your event and SportBlox periodises training toward it, including a taper as it approaches.
