MUAY THAI

Muay Thai training plans, built for your goal

Muay Thai's clinch work and leg conditioning don't show up in a generic combat-sports plan — a fighter building toward a bout needs clinch rounds and shin conditioning that a boxer or wrestler never trains. SportBlox builds your Muay Thai training plan around your goal, current level and event date.

Personalisation

How SportBlox personalises it

Your goal & event date

Sessions build toward the specific goal and date you set, with a taper if you're racing or competing.

Your skill level

Volume and intensity scale to where you actually are, from Inexperienced to Professional.

Your stated weaknesses

Tell SportBlox about things like clinch control, checking low kicks, output rate over five rounds and the plan weights sessions toward fixing them.

Your schedule

The plan fits the days and time you say you have — not an idealised training week.

FAQ

Muay Thai training plan FAQ

How many rounds of training per week does the plan include?

Typically 5–6 sessions mixing roadwork, pad work and one or two clinch or sparring days, always with a rest day.

Do I need a gym and training partners for clinch work?

Clinch and sparring sessions assume a partner and pads; the surrounding conditioning and bag work can be done solo if flagged as a constraint.

Is this suitable for someone with no Muay Thai background?

Yes — set skill level to Inexperienced and the plan leans toward technique and conditioning before adding sparring volume.

Will it fit around my existing gym classes?

Tell SportBlox the sessions you already do and it builds the Muay Thai-specific work around them.

Does it help with cutting weight for a fight?

It won't prescribe a weight cut directly, but flag your weight class as a challenge and the plan favours conditioning that supports safe weight management.
