SKATEBOARDING

Skateboarding training plans, built for your goal

Progress in skateboarding is gated as much by fall tolerance as by trick difficulty — skaters who train eccentric leg strength and ankle stability simply absorb bad landings better and keep sessions going longer, whether they're skating street or transition. SportBlox builds your skateboarding training plan around your goal, current level and whether you skate street or park/vert.

Personalisation

How SportBlox personalises it

Your goal & event date

Sessions build toward the specific goal and date you set, with a taper if you're racing or competing.

Your skill level

Volume and intensity scale to where you actually are, from Inexperienced to Professional.

Your stated weaknesses

Tell SportBlox about things like landing stability on rollaways, ankle rolls from bad bails, pop height on flip tricks and the plan weights sessions toward fixing them.

Your schedule

The plan fits the days and time you say you have — not an idealised training week.

FAQ

Skateboarding training plan FAQ

How many sessions per week does the plan include?

Usually 5–6, combining strength and pop training with skate sessions, plus a rest day for joint recovery.

Do I need a skatepark for this?

Street skaters can follow it around a spot or driveway — tell SportBlox whether you skate street or park/vert and it adjusts accordingly.

Is this suitable for a beginner skater?

Yes — set skill level to Inexperienced and the plan prioritises ankle stability and fall-safe strength before trick-specific pop training.

Will it fit around my existing skate sessions?

Yes, tell SportBlox how often you already skate and the plan adds strength and stability work around it, not instead of it.

Does this apply to inline skating too?

Much of the balance and core control training carries over closely — flag inline skating and SportBlox adjusts the trick-specific elements while keeping the stability foundation.
