WUSHU

Wushu training plans, built for your goal

Wushu splits into two very different disciplines: sanda's full-contact sparring demands striking conditioning, while taolu's compulsory forms demand extreme flexibility, aerial power and precision that a sparring-based plan never builds. SportBlox builds your wushu training plan around your goal, current level and discipline.

Personalisation

How SportBlox personalises it

Your goal & event date

Sessions build toward the specific goal and date you set, with a taper if you're racing or competing.

Your skill level

Volume and intensity scale to where you actually are, from Inexperienced to Professional.

Your stated weaknesses

Tell SportBlox about things like hip and shoulder flexibility, landing control on aerial kicks, routine stamina and consistency and the plan weights sessions toward fixing them.

Your schedule

The plan fits the days and time you say you have — not an idealised training week.

For coaches

FAQ

Wushu training plan FAQ

How many sessions per week does the plan include?

Typically 5–6 sessions split between flexibility, strength and discipline-specific drilling, with a rest day.

Do I need weapons or special equipment for taolu?

Bare-hand taolu needs only floor space; if your routine uses a weapon, flag it so drilling sessions account for it.

Is this suitable for beginners to wushu?

Yes — set skill level to Inexperienced and the plan builds flexibility and basic forms before adding routine complexity.

Will it fit around my wushu school's class schedule?

Tell SportBlox your regular class sessions and it builds supporting flexibility and strength work around them.

Does it help me taper before a competition?

Yes — give it your event date and it shifts toward routine polish and recovery in the final week rather than new volume.
