CAMERON RELAY

Cameron Relay training plans, built for your goal

Cameron Relay is one of surf lifesaving's team medley events, pairing swim and craft legs across your squad — which means training has to build real fitness in your assigned leg, not just general conditioning. SportBlox builds your Cameron relay training plan around your leg, your team's carnival calendar and where you personally need the most work.

Personalisation

How SportBlox personalises it

Your goal & event date

Sessions build toward the specific goal and date you set, with a taper if you're racing or competing.

Your skill level

Volume and intensity scale to where you actually are, from Inexperienced to Professional.

Your stated weaknesses

Tell SportBlox about things like losing time on the changeover into your leg, fitness gaps in a discipline you train less often, pacing your leg to match your teammates' and the plan weights sessions toward fixing them.

Your schedule

The plan fits the days and time you say you have — not an idealised training week.

FAQ

Cameron Relay training plan FAQ

Which leg does the plan train?

Tell SportBlox your assigned leg (swim, board or ski) and the plan weights conditioning and technique toward it, while still including cross-training in the others.

Do I need a full team to train relay-specific sessions?

Changeover and full-relay-simulation sessions benefit from teammates, but SportBlox marks these separately from the solo work that makes up most of the week.

How many sessions per week?

Typically 4–5, covering your leg's discipline plus strength, changeovers and a rest day.

Is this suitable if I'm new to one of the disciplines?

Yes, skill level scales volume and technical complexity for the discipline you're least experienced in.

Will it build toward our carnival date?

Add the carnival as an event and the plan tapers in the final week before racing.
